Perhaps one of the most perplexing sartorial challenges is figuring out what to wear for a date. Of course, so much depends on where you're going and who the boy is. My fantasy date night outfits with the beau involve gorgeous cocktail dresses, statement lipstick and a fab little clutch—with no regard for the season.
In reality, however, a pair of jeans and some heels are generally all I can muster. Admittedly, I feel a little silly getting all gussied up for dinner and a movie in such a casual city. But what girl doesn't love an excuse to go all out?
Sigh...if only I enjoyed the opera.
