La Redoute's French Capsule Collection

Last month I had the opportunity to work with UK clothing retailer La Redoute. I was delighted to illustrate their perfect French capsule collection: skinny jeans, a fitted shirt, ballet flats, a black jacket, and—of course—the little black dress. Current Obsession: Giambattista Valli Prints and Prada Pastels

I'd like you to meet my dream coat and dream bag. You may think I'm crazy but I've always had a love for floral coats. I've just yet to find one as utterly perfect as Giambattista Valli's collarless topper. It's like a piece of art. Speaking of which--have you seen his Spring '12 couture collection?

I'll also gladly take any of these pastel Prada bags, per favore. More realistically, this leopard "No. 2" pencil skirt is classic (btw, very clever, J. Crew). I loved the combination of colorful prints with this winged black-and-white Falcon tank from Helmut Lang. It adds a healthy dose of edge to this girly ensemble, don't you think?

It's the Perfect Day for a...Bicycle Ride

Did you know Kate Spade makes bicycles? I didn't either, but I'm delighted she does! Wouldn't you love to ride around on this darling beach cruiser in your favorite sun dress? Clearly I'm craving summer--and anything bicycle themed like this adorable Anthropologie dress my friend Dominique introduced me to. She also showed me this pink leather tote from ASOS that's calling my name. Or maybe I'll will the sun to come out with Anthro's retro lampshade hat.

p.s. Try to not get this stuck in your head. I dare you.

Current Obsession: Barbie Shoes

These J.Crew heels just scream vintage Barbie, don't they?? Striped, bowed AND peep-toed. Simply divine. And if you want a sexy off-the-shoulder ruched dress like this one hit up Norstrom.

Girl With the Peacock Earring

The sad irony of this illustration is I can't wear earrings--I'm allergic to every pair! But aren't these dangling peacock eye earrings by Ten Thousand Things absolutely gorgeous??? They also happen to be nearly 2K, yowza! But they are lovely.
