Inspired by the birth of my daughter and the barrage of disempowering messages in the media, I set out to write and illustrate a book that instills body neutrality and positivity in future generations. With whimsical art and a sweet rhyming poem, What Makes Me Beautiful is a celebration of what our bodies can DO rather than how they look. Inspiring and fun for our daughters, these words will also tug at the heart strings of your own inner little girl.
